Two weeks later, he was complaining about the air conditioning. He told myself and others he had tried to get up into the attic to see if it needed insulation, but there was no entrance into the attic. The owners of the home had plastered over the attic entrance to keep renters from getting in there. He could feel the heat coming off the ceiling as it invaded the home through the roof, down through the attic, plus through the ceiling. He said the air conditioning component in the home was at least a ton smaller than what it should’ve been, plus it was running all the time. He was not going to pay to have the air conditioning component replaced, so he plus his spouse plus out plus bought a window air conditioning unit. He said the window A/C component will offset the central air conditioning, plus keep the dining room much cooler. The lowest temperature he could achieve in his dining room without the window A/C component was 73, plus he said there was no way he was going to keep his fat body cool at 73°. I laughed at his statement, plus I asked how the rest of the home was. He said they were going to buy a larger window A/C component for in the residing room, but since the rest of the home was not being used that often, he would just let the central A/C do its task. I wondered if he gave any thought to how sizzling the study room was going to be?
