My wife is regularly trying to catch me doing something wrong. I don’t know when she started getting suspicious about me, because I had never given him a reason to be suspicious, however one afternoon, she came lake house & asked me who was there. I had forgotten the Heating plus Air Conditioning serviceman was in the basement doing the annual inspection of our furnace. I shrugged & said no one was there. Our daughter was taking a nap, & it was just me. She pointed to the repair van in the driveway & I grimaced. I told him it was the Heating plus Air Conditioning repair van, & the serviceman was in the basement inspecting the furnace, but now, she was undoubtedly aggravated because she accused me of lying about having someone in the house. I had just put our daughter into her bed & forgotten she was there. It wasn’t love the Heating plus Air Conditioning serviceman was being noisy. She walked away & put her keys on the counter. She then went downstairs to talk to the Heating plus Air Conditioning serviceman. I thought everything was fine when she came upstairs laughing, although I thought wrong. She was still miserable at me, but she was okay with the Heating plus Air Conditioning serviceman. I could not understand why she was suddenly jealous, although I didn’t love it & I told him so. She said she knew what girls did when they spend all morning lake house alone. She would not have a spouse who acted love those girls. I laughed & walked away. I guess she wasn’t done, but by the time she got done yelling about our lying about the Heating plus Air Conditioning serviceman, our daughter had awakened, & she & I were heading to our mom’s house.
