I feel like I mostly did alright helping my partner make the baked goods
When the church asked if anyone could bring some baked goods for their baked goods fundraiser, my partner volunteered us.
It wasn’t that I didn’t feel confident in her cooking some awesome baked goods, it was that I didn’t have any confidence that I could make anything good. She had myself and others help out with all kinds of things, brownies, cookies, and even some mouthwatering cherry Pepsi cake with icing drizzled on the top. Now of course while both of us were cooking, I had the plan cranked up. It’s a fantastic thing both of us have a smart thermostat because I was changing the temperature control settings up and down. At least that was until my partner said to leave the temperature control settings alone and focus on the food. I entirely ended up burning the first batch of cookies, I burned those to a crisp. My partner exclaimed that I had to pay careful attention to the cookies because they don’t take very long to bake. So I timed everything carefully after that and I was entirely getting a hang of all the baking. My partner of course made everything look straight-forward and I’m particular I couldn’t have done anything separate from her, however she had myself and others make some brownies and cookies on my own as well. All of us had a ton of brownies and cookies and a few Pepsi cakes all ready for the bake sale at the church. When both of us brought all the food, the bishop kept complimenting us saying how both of us did fantastic work. The temperature control settings at the church were nice too, and the bake sale went pretty well, everything both of us brought was sold!
