The weather in my area is intense.

• Everyday it is going to be in the 90s.

What stinks is that I work out in an outdoor shed that doesn’t have AC. I need to plan my workouts accordingly. The weather is in the 80s by 11am everyday. It is only a decent temperature around 6am. So for the summer season I am setting an alarm and working out early to beat the heat. I have a box fan in my shed but that only does so much. The shed feels like it is 90 degrees. I really need to invest in a cooling system. The problem is that I don’t know what type to get. I could choose a window air conditioning unit but I hate to forgo the fresh breeze. I also think the appearance of window AC is terrible. There are portable AC units that sit on the floor. I am a gymnast. Every square inch of that shed space I am greedy for. I really don’t want to give up a sizable corner for a giant cooling system. The only other idea would be a wall mounted unit like a ductless mini split or heat pump. That is a lot of power for the size of my shed. I really wouldn’t need it to have that much juice. Also with these systems I would be getting a heating function as well. I wouldn’t hardly use the heater. The cost of these ductless systems are quite high too. So what is my option for shed cooling in the summer? I know what I am doing right now isn’t sustainable. Eventually it is going to be too hot.
