I was curious about where the condenser component would be installed
When I had an Heating, Ventilation, and A/C professional come out to install a ductless mini split, I remember asking him where they would install the condenser unit.
I was thinking it would have to be on a flat area where a slab could be installed.
The Heating, Ventilation, and A/C expert said that was an option, but she suggested putting the condenser component in the back of the home where it could easily be mounted to the wall. The back of our home easily doesn’t have a lot of space, so I was thinking it was going to be an issue, but when she showed myself and others what the mounted condenser would look like, I realized that it would easily work perfectly! First of all, the condenser would be out of sight and snow wouldn’t even reach it in the Wintertide season because it would be high enough off the ground. I easily realized how brilliant that was because you don’t want dirt and debris definitely collecting in your condenser unit. It also was mounted at the ideal height so the Heating, Ventilation, and A/C experts could definitely maintain the thing separate from any concerns. Of course, they made this replacement look incredibly simple. They did have some awesome tools though. The tool they used to drill through the walls was awesome. I recognize it was a hammer drill and it made the world simple for sure. I mentioned how I might’ve been able to install that plan myself. The Heating, Ventilation, and A/C professionals laughed and said they get that all the time. Of course, they said you could install your own, but you usually void the warranty by doing so or have a limited warranty only.
