I am basically here going to see my stepmom at my dad’s lake property that he built approximately twenty years ago.

• He passed away in 2020 and she is going to sell the lake property soon, so next time I come back to visit from overseas the lake property will belong to someone else.

I never thought he would go so fast and so hastily as he did but life offers you twists and turns that you would never expect. My dad was the owner of a local company doing Heating and Air Conditioning equipment repairs and services and made a fairly amazing living doing so. My stepmom just gave us each $100K as a gift and I very speedily put it in cryptos and lost over half already. I’m not going to sell it though and hopefully the crypto will go up in value. I am well aware of all the hard work my dad did in the Heating and Air Conditioning equipment industry to gain that money and I am not going to lose it in such a manner. I suppose it will all be okay, I just need to have a small amount of patience and deal with the storm right now. I also have a good job working in the Heating and Air Conditioning equipment field doing repairs on heat pumps and a/cs and am trying to save a fair amount of money so I don’t have to rely on dad’s money any longer. There won’t be any more money coming to me anyways so I need to basically focus on preparing my own nest egg. I have a pretty good amount of requests from purchasers for Heating and Air Conditioning machine services so I am thankful for that and am eager to get the various tasks completed.
