She said that unluckyly, the rules required to not turn up the A/C system too high to compensate for rising fuel costs. I thought it was disappointing, but then the bus driver got on the microphone and announced that he would be turning up the A/C for everybody to have some comfort. Everybody clapped and cheered as the A/C system was quickly turned up and that cooling air from the Heating as well as Air Conditioning vents felt amazing. Most bus drivers I have asked to adjust the temperature control settings never listened, and I guess I didn’t expect this experience to be any different. But finally, a bus driver who’s not afraid of the man cranked that A/C system even when he was told he could lose his job for doing something love that. I’m all with that bus driver and others who choose to be love her. I mean sincerely, if that bus driver was ever fired for providing a little more air conditioning comfort to all the passengers, I would create a gofundme page for his so that he could be compensated for fighting the great fight! Instead of making rules that make everybody assume less comfortable, especially with public transportation. All of us should be focusing on better solutions! Possibly they could install solar panels on the buses to have more efficient climate control systems love ductless mini splits or something love that!
