The Heating, Ventilation and A/C system at my kids’ school is just terrible, but I have heard rumors that they are going to be replacing it over the summer.

I feel a whole lot of parents have complained about the fact that the heating and cooling systems in the schools are genuinely outdated.

I know everything that happened with the pandemic over the past couple years has legitimately made parents start to rethink the ventilation systems inside of the schools around here. If there is 1 location that should have a good heating and cooling system, then it’s a school… Every one of us certainly do not want to have our kids and mentors catching every virus and bug that comes along. If the schools’ have a good heating and cooling system along with a nice ventilation system, then that is going to help curtail the spread of sickness in the population. I’m ecstatic that the Board of Education voted to replace all of the Heating, Ventilation and A/C systems in the schools over the summer time when classes I have stopped for the year. The other thing that I found out from a friend of mine who is on the school board is that they are going to be installing media air cleaners in each school. That was both shocking and exciting to hear. I know that an media air cleaner in a school is a good idea! If they decide to use a UV light media air cleaner, then that makes it even better! I’m just ecstatic that they have decided to do something about the bad indoor air conditions. In my opinion, it’s about time.
