But whenever I’m house from college, I work at the farm that’s on the other side of neighborhood as well as periodically it gets way too hot! I like the summer time as well as the beach as well as the pool as well as all of those things, however whenever you have to work outside as well as do manual labor, it’s a weird story. I guess that working hard as well as doing physical labor is a great thing to build character as well as keep you healthy. However, periodically it’s hard to be outside for 8 hours a day without a break when you would love to be resting in the air conditioning inside somewhere! Last year, all of us had record splitting hot as well as cold temperatures during the summer time as well as let me tell you, it was easily hard to be outside on those mornings when the hot as well as cold temperatures were in the high 90s. Several times a day, I would have to take a break so I could go as well as cool off in the air conditioning inside of our truck. The only place in the whole farm that’s air conditioned is the little front office area, as well as all of us aren’t allowed to congregate there because there is just not enough room for all of the farm hands. Needless to say, it was a easily long, sizzling summer. They say that this year it’s not going to be quite as bad, as well as I am ecstatic. I am also planning on getting a single of those little portable cooling systems to wear around our neck while I am working there this year!
