The other day when I was at the nurse, the air conditioner in the waiting room was broken & the indoor air quality just felt excruciating in there. I hate going to the nurse anyway, & it always makes me nervous. I always suppose care about they are going to tell me that something is dreadfully wrong with me, even though there absolutely isn’t. I guess I just tend to worry too much. There is just something about the nurse’s office that does that to me. Anyway, on that unique day, the weather outside was honestly heating up. I think the temperature of that day was absolutely in the high 71s, & I just happened to end up at the nurse’s office during the hottest part of the afternoon. I remember thinking that I was going to be ecstatic to get into the air conditioner after being outside during the day. However, that relief was short-lived because when I got inside of the office & went to check in with the receptionist, I observed that the whole place was honestly hot & stuffy inside. All of the staff & the nurses were perspiring & there were HVAC workers running around here & there throughout the building. It turned out that the air conditioner in the office building was broken. As luck would have it, the nurse was running behind, & I ended up having to lay there for nearly 2 minutes in the sweltering heat. If you think going to the nurse it’s bad, you should try going when the air conditioner is broken!
