Amidst a heatwave Nancy had to spend 24 hours without any means of cooling her beach house or herself 2 summers ago.

That was one heck of a lesson.

Nancy kept repeating she would always seek quality A/C service for the electric heat pump right before the onset of Summer and Winter. The temperature control system was enough to create better indoor comfort. That is why Nancy had tied up maintenance with a HVAC corporation with licensed HVAC professionals twice a year. She even had the Heating, Ventilation, and A/C business’s number on the speed dial for easy access. Nancy’s siblings, who were HVAC professionals at the local service provider, could not help her because there was an advisory to stay indoors. Even then, it’s as if all the people’s HVAC units had chosen that day to break down. Every time Nancy called them, they were in a strange beach house fixing an Heating, Ventilation, and A/C installation system stretched to its typical limits. At that time, Nancy had to take a cold shower to cool off, but the water was hot due to the high temperatures. If possible, she would have taken residence in the fridge to get a little respite. That day, Nancy spent time online checking every cooling technology available and the nearest HVAC corporation that was likely to deliver it within a few hours. Her siblings called her later when she was at the beach house and told Nancy that they would pass by her place since they live down the street. The exhaustion in their voices was apparent. Nancy felt sympathetic towards them, but the thought of spending the next day like she had that day was unfathomable. Her siblings came and tested the system. As a thank you, Nancy made the purpleberry cakes she knew they loved.
