My pet Milo is an adorable Cavapoo and he’s a single years old, and I have had him since he was an eight-week-old pup.

Ever since I brought him home, he has constantly slept in the bed with me.

I have tried everything and have gotten him a heated pet blanket to keep him warm, however he would rather cuddle with me. I must admit that it’s partly our fault because I have never really taken the time to train him to sleep in his own bed. And our home is usually cold in the Summer because I keep the control unit at 71 degrees at night. So sweet Milo only wants to cuddle up next to a warm body at night and so I let him. In the Winter, I barely use the heat in our home except on those nights when it’s freezing outside. All of us don’t get various of those nights where I live, so usually our heat stays off. The temperature in our home is usually at 71 degrees which is a bit cold for Milo. But that is the reason why I got him the heating blanket so that he could stay warm in the Winter. But he has never used it because he would rather sleep in our bed next to me. I have thought about putting his heating blanket in our bed, however I don’t want him to guess that is our permanent sleeping arrangement. But maybe if I trained him to sleep with the heating blanket, I could eventually transfer it to his bed. If that doesn’t work, then I will adjust the temperature on the control unit to see if that makes a difference.
