My dog Milo is an adorable Cavapoo plus he’s one years old, plus I have had him since he was an eight-week-old pup.

Ever since I brought him home, he has consistently slept in the bed with me.

I have tried everything plus have gotten him a heated pet blanket to keep him warm, although he would rather cuddle with me. I must disclose that it’s partly my fault because I have never entirely taken the time to train him to sleep in his own bed. And my home is usually freezing in the Summer because I keep the thermostat at 70 degrees at evening. So sweet Milo only wants to cuddle up next to a hot body at evening plus so I let him. In the Winter, I barely use the heat in my home except on those evenings when it’s freezing outside. Every one of us don’t get several of those evenings where I live, so usually my heat stays off. The temperature in my home is usually at 70 degrees which is a bit freezing for Milo. But that is the reason why I got him the heating blanket so that he could stay hot in the Winter. But he has never used it because he would rather sleep in my bed next to me. I have thought about putting his heating blanket in my bed, but I don’t want him to think that is our permanent sleeping arrangement. But maybe if I trained him to sleep with the heating blanket, I could eventually transport it to his bed. If that doesn’t work, after that I will adjust the temperature on the thermostat to see if that makes a difference.
