My Grandpa lives down in the southern section of the country, then he lives a couple of states away and so I don’t get to see him nearly as much as I would love to; My Grandpa really appreciates everything about honey and beekeeping.

He’s typically enjoyed it, however for as long as I can remember, my Grandpa has been interested in beekeeping and honey.

He’s absolutely been doing it since long before I was born; I can remember back when I was a little boy and I would spend the summers down there with my Grandpa. He would typically have all kinds of beekeeping and honey making projects going on at his house. I enjoyed going down there, and I typically enjoyed to watch him take care of the honey hives, then of course, back then, I was a little bit scared of all of the bees. I wouldn’t go out to the hives with him until I was about 11 years old or so… Now, though, I guess everything that there is to guess about bees and beekeeping. I’m not afraid to go near the hives and to take the honey out of the hives with my Grandpa. I typically help him whenever I go down to visit more than two or multiple times a year. I have l received a lot about bees and beekeeping and the honey company from him and I really love to spend time with him.I’ve typically been surprised about how much work goes into beekeeping. It really takes a lot of work to keep your bees healthy and productive! When you own a little honey farm the way that my Grandpa does, you really have to put a lot of time and effort into it.
