Have you ever seen those apps that lock you out of your phone when you’re drinking? In order to unlock the screen you have to answer certain questions or solve difficult puzzles to prove that you are sober enough to be trusted? Well, I needed one of those last night.

I made a very stupid decision, and now I have no idea how to resolve the situation.

Yesterday, before I went out, I had a routine central heating and cooling service appointment with my usual ventilation dealership. However, when my ventilation specialists arrived at my door, it was not my usual technician. I am accustomed to a large, old and Burly man fixing my central cooling system while his hairy butt crack hangs out. Instead, I found a tall, muscular and young man standing with a toolbox in his hand. I almost fainted. I brought him to my central cooling system and left him to do the work. He found me a short time later, and let me know that he needed to order a part to complete the cooling system service. He said he would be back tomorrow to finish up the job. I was ecstatic to have another chance to see my ventilation specialists again. When I went out to the bars with my friends last night, I clearly had too many to drink. I wish my friends had taken my phone out of my hand, because after gloating about my beautiful heating and cooling technician date the next day, apparently I started texting him. When I woke up this morning, I found 16 unanswered messages that I sent and three unanswered phone calls that I had placed. Now, I probably just have to hide when he comes to finish my AC repair.
