One of my favorite days of the week was Friday.

This is because my family had a fun Friday routine.

We would go every Friday to our local bakery and pick up some baked goods. Everything from different types of loafs of bread, to cakes, cupcakes, and cookies. Then we would stop by the deli and get some lunch meat and cheese. When we would get home we would invite some friends over and we would make the most delicious sandwiches with any kind of toppings you wanted. Lettuce, tomato, pickles, yum! We would prepare a lunch for everybody and we would all go out to eat, and depending on the week, sometimes we would set up a nice little picnic with all you could eat. After the sandwiches there were the sweets ready for dessert. Anything that was leftover we would take home and have for ourselves throughout the week, and there was always plenty leftover because we brought so much food! While visiting the bakery is always fun, one of the best parts besides the food is the excellent quality of heating and air conditioning that is used in the building. We are currently experiencing the hottest of the summer months, and it is so nice to walk into a building with an excellent indoor cooling system. I believe they use a commercial HVAC unit to obtain such wonderful temperatures. Whatever they do, it is clearly working because I can’t stop going back for more, and it isn’t just for the food.
