I can remember winters back when I was in middle school and high school.

I went to this special private school and the journey there was an hour each way.

We had a special school bus that would pick us up at our houses rather than a bus stop like regular school kids had. The one thing I will always remember about that school bus is that they had the best heating and air conditioning. Public school buses were lacking in the heating and the air conditioning side of things. But this special school bus was not! They made sure that the driver and all us kids on it had great indoor comfort on the hour long ride to and from school every single day of the week. Sometimes when it was really freezing cold out and if I did not get enough sleep, I would go to the back of the bus with a friend of mine and the two of us would just sleep the hour journey to school while being really relaxed from the great central heating that the school bus had! Nothing could beat that heater when it came to school buses. I used to tell all my public school friends how great the heating and the air conditioning was on that bus. They did not believe me. I did not care though because I always had the great heating and air conditioning on the bus and they didn’t. I was so lucky to go to this private school instead of the regular public school.
