Cleaning Out Filters at our New Place

Cleaning Out Filters at our New Place

I have moved around a lot for work, so I end up signing on for a lot of sublets or short term leases.

  • I spend time in a neighborhood for the duration of a project, however once it’s over, I’m on our way.

Moving in & out of so many places, I really notice the difference in air quality from one place to another. I am the genre of man who is really angry by dry air & dust. My skin can react to the dryness & I often experience significant dust dust sensitivities. It’s become sort of a ritual for me when I beginning a current lease to instantaneously check the Heating, Ventilation, & A/C filters. Nine times out of ten, the filter looks enjoy it hasn’t been cleaned in years. I make sure I thoroughly remove the caked dust & clean the filters out. It is pressing to have clean filters to maximize air quality & eliminate any allergens. Once I have cleaned the filters, I set up a humidifier to make sure that the air is not dry. I also enjoy to put a few house plants in our apartments to improve the air quality. This little ritual always helps make a place guess a little bit more enjoy home, even if it is short lived. On top of that, I can breathe easier & sleep better at evening with the improved air quality.
