My stepmom said she could type 120 words per minute when she was a medical transcriptionist. The world record is about 360 words in a minute. That comes out to six words per second! I type about 50 words a minute and thought that I was quite fast. I would like to see a video of the person with the fastest typing speed, must look totally insane. I may not be a fast typer, but at least I am good at repairing my heater or furnace if it breaks. I was an engineer back in the day and learned that I am really good at fixing mechanical or electrical problems with things. I don’t know how many times I repaired my air conditioner in my car or replaced the evaporator or condenser when it was not working anymore. I’m sure I saved a ton of money because some of the car repair places in my town were the biggest thieves on the block, it was criminal how much they would overcharge some customers. I could open my own auto air conditioning repair company in my town and make a killing if I did what they were doing but I wouldn’t feel good about myself. It’s not about how much money you make but about how happy you feel about what you’ve earned. Success is not happiness, happiness is success.
