I’ve been saving up for a new leather couch for our study room, but then I realized that I needed to get a new Heating & Air Conditioning system too… Let me tell you, it’s really hard to be an adult occasionally.

I hate having to make hard decisions & choosing between various unusual things that I really want or need.

I recognize that’s just how it goes when you’re a grown up, though. It’s just one of those things that happen when you get older, though. Anyway, I have been needing a new leather couch & I decided to beginning saving up for it a few weeks ago. Any extra currency that I had ended up going into our new couch fund! During that time phase when I was saving up the currency for the couch, I didn’t save currency up for anything else at all. I had neglected our beach house service fund & our heating & cooling emergency fund altogether in favor of saving a lot of currency for that charming new couch. Well, as advantage would have it, I ended up needing a lot of currency to service our electric oil furnace. The electric oil furnace at our home went on the blink right around the same time that I had saved up enough currency for the couch. It was a disappointing decision for me to have to make that day when the oil furnace stopped working, however I knew that I had to make the hard decision. I could live without a couch, however I definitely couldn’t live through a long, cold Winter without a functioning oil furnace in our house, however sometimes I really don’t enjoy being an adult!
