I pulled off the surprise for my girlfriend

My girlfriend exemplifies the phrase “don’t judge a book by its cover!” She is covered in tattoos, has a few piercings but has a strong policy of never getting piercings on her face, which I find amusing.

She has jet black hair that reaches all the way to her lower back.

She works at an IT firm and is the best coder I’ve ever met. She recently bragged about an excellent digital temperature control that she wanted installed to replace her old temperature control system, which provided me with an idea of what to purchase her for her birthday. She liked flowers and sweets, but this would blow her away. I informed her that because it was a surprise, I would contact a local service company to come for an oil furnace/heater tune-up in case the electric heat pump had a problem. She continued by saying that if the electric heating system had a technical problem, she would have noticed it and phoned the heating provider for a heating system repair. I claimed that problems came from nowhere, especially after a cold season, and that it was also time to fine-tune the zone control system. Even though I was determined to pull off the surprise, I realized I was making unquestionably little sense at this point, but on the eve of her birthday, the heating supplier arrived with the smart regulator and informed me that it would improve her experience with radiant floor heating while also reducing overall whole-home heating energy consumption. All of this was going on while she was at work. When he saw her picture, the serviceman chuckled and revealed that she had once provided some energy-saving advice to him and his colleague! Yes, that does sound like something she would do.
