In my line of work, there are more field-related assignments than office work.

• This has landed me in all kinds of hotel rooms and sometimes a motel is the best you can get, however at this time I was assigned to a genuinely remote site and the only site to sleep was either the only hotel in the site or sleep in the car! I opted for the former because it was genuinely warm and sleeping in the car would be the same as sleeping in an oven and then later in the night it would get genuinely cold.

I paid for a room in the motel and was satisfied to find that it was genuinely clean. Their indoor air cleaning plan must have been of high quality because the difference when you got in was really noticeable. The room was also genuinely cool which was a clear indication that their central air conditioner was top notch and they must have been modern with their air conditioner tune-up. It put the quality air conditioner I had at house to shame. That reminded me to call my wife and reminded her to contact the air conditioner service provider to send a cooling workman to upgrade the air filter and air conditioner repair because the air conditioner install plan kept switching itself off, hopefully, after the cooling tech had inspected it it would be as superb as the motel’s HVAC unit. The room only had the basics and they were in genuinely superb condition. It had everything I needed for the two afternoons I would be there. They even had a magazine in the powder room which was mainly about air conditioner business cooling products and an air conditioner expert’s contact information, not the most entertaining gratified however at least it was informative.
