Turning off your air conditioner in the fall is such a nice thing.

I love my air conditioner, but I don’t like what it stands for.

My air conditioner has always been very reliable at keeping me warm and comfortable, but I also know that my air conditioner is a representation of how I am trapped indoors. I can’t turn my air conditioner off in the summer because I will feel completely miserable, and I can’t enjoy the outdoors without an air conditioner, because I will feel completely miserable. That is why I love turning my air conditioner off in the fall. There is something nice about realizing that the outside air is the perfect temperature. When your house begins to get colder at night without the air conditioner, then you don’t have to worry about being too warm. During the day, if your house begins to feel a little stuffy, you could open your windows. There is no air conditioner required during the fall to be comfortable. As the temperatures begin dropping, you still have a few more weeks where you can put on a sweater to remain warm. Sure, when you turn on your air conditioner, it is only a matter of time when you have to turn on your furnace to keep your house warm. Honestly, though, I prefer using my furnace instead of my air conditioner anyways. It is nice to go for a winter walk, only to come in and feel the gentle heat from your furnace. I may be crazy for hoping to turn my air conditioner off, but if so, then I would prefer to be crazy.
