There is no doubt that I have loved growing up and living my adult life up north until recently.

I’m a fan of just about everything in this section and that even includes the wintertime to some degree. The older I’m getting, the less I like getting out of the HVAC heating morning to shovel snow. Still, it’s wonderful to have a white Christmas and I like all the wintertide sports. However, my supplier provided me with a proposition that I just couldn’t refuse. The work I’ve wanted for such a long time finally became available. However, it wasn’t in the office up north. The position was in a sibling office down south so I would have to relocate. This was difficult in some ways and certainly easy in others. The system of not having to pay the exorbitant heating bills to run the gas furnace was a immense positive. Moving to a place where I could easily play golf, tennis and go hiking year round was another immense plus. However, I would miss our family and friends for sure. Plus, my boyfriend of several years point blank told me he wasn’t going with me. Still, I chose to go for the work I’ve consistently wanted and for the new digs. It’s been just over a year and I have to say that I made the right choice. The summer time was difficult however the heat pump and all that HVAC cooling helped me manage. However, the other seven months of the year are pure bliss and I have nearly no heating bills at all. It’s that mild of a winter.
