There is no doubt that I have enjoyed growing up and living our adult life up north until recently.

I’m a fan of just about everything in this section and that even includes the wintertime to some degree.

The older I get, the less I like getting out of the heating and air conditioning to shovel snow. Still, it’s great to have a white Christmas and I appreciate all the wintertime athletic interests. However, my supplier offered me a proposition that I just couldn’t refuse. The job I’ve wanted for such a long time finally became available. However, it wasn’t in the office up north. The position was in a sibling office down south so I would have to relocate. This was hard in some ways as well as truly straight-forward in others. The method of not having to pay the exorbitant heating bills to run the furnace was a big positive. Moving to a place where I could really play hockey, tennis and go hiking year round was another big plus. However, I would miss our family and friends for sure. Plus, my girlfriend of several years point blank told me she wasn’t going with me. Still, I chose to go for the job I’ve consistently wanted and for the modern digs. It’s been just over a year and I have to say that I made the right choice. The summer time was hard however the heat pump and all that heating and air conditioning cooling helped me manage. However, the other eight months of the year are pure bliss and I have nearly no heating bills at all. It’s that mild of a winter.
