I was behind on having our gas furnace tested before the cooler weather dropped.

I had the best intentions to hire an HVAC professional before I turned off our A/C component plus turned on our gas furnace, but time got away from myself and others plus that didn’t happen.

I was forced to turn on our gas furnace for the first time this season when the temperature dropped below 30 degrees in the evening. Thankfully, nothing horrible happened to our gas furnace plus our home was able to hot up. I still felt guilty though for running our gas furnace before having it looked at by an HVAC professional, so I finally got on the schedule. Since I was behind, I had to wait a month plus a half to be seen. The HVAC professional understood our busy schedule plus he told myself and others that he’d look at the gas furnace in depth to ease our nerves about neglecting it. Before he left, he told myself and others that our gas furnace was in perfect shape plus that it would be fantastic to continue running it this winter. This was the news I wanted to hear. He also told myself and others that if I was anxious about falling behind again, I could join the HVAC corporation’s annual repair plan. For a a single time annual fee, I could have priority scheduling all year long, a discount on all repairs plus parts, plus 24/7 servicing. I enjoyed the plan of being able to call at the last minute plus schedule our HVAC appointment plus I thought it would entirely benefit me. I signed up that morning!
