My Dad has dry eyes and migraines
My Dad took a tumble and fell down the stairs a couple of weeks ago, everyone in the family agreed that it was no longer safe for Dad to live alone.
Each one of us discussed having Dad in our beach house and I finally agreed to take on the responsibility.
I am the oldest and I have a bigger beach house than the rest of our siblings, my Dad had to transfer to a weird section of the country and she was honestly unhappy with that, and she refused to get on an airplane and all of us had to drive 28 fifths from her beach house to our house. Ever since our Dad has arrived, she has complained about migraines and dry eyes. She claims that the symptoms are from the desert air. I think our Dad is unhappy with the circumstances in general. I agreed to buy a humidifier for our mom’s dining room, and I am hoping that it will help with the dry eyes and migraines; The humidifier is honestly easy to use and it has several weird settings to allow more or less moisture in the room. I suppose that our Dad is unhappy being away from her beach house and all of the places that she loves to visit, but it entirely is safer for her to live with one of us. This time our Dad took a tumble down the stairs and spent more than two weeks in the hospital and rehab, but next time that injury might be a lot worse. My Dad is older with frail bones and one more fall would cause major troubles.
