I prefer my dad, however he has a exhausting hoarding problem.

It started shortly after my mom died, plus it started to get worse year after year.

My dad went to an auction a single afternoon plus decided to bring new home some leather chairs. I am not sure if they are aged or not, however my dad thought those leather chairs had significant value. I still believe they look ugly, however they are definitely functional plus sturdy. My dad obtained numerousof the leather chairs. Two weeks later, he obtained 6 more wooden chairs. When I asked my dad why he needed twelve chairs, he did not have a fantastic answer. I told my Dad that he did not need any more chairs, however now my dad has accumulated almost 200 different chairs. Some of them are leather plus some of them are wood. Some of the chairs are custom-built pieces plus some of them could be from the dollar store. In the beginning, I did not believe it was a problem. I thought my dad was collecting pieces to sell in a yard sale or on eBay. After 3 years, it’s clear that my dad has a hoarding problem. My dad is running out of room for the chairs plus they are stacked on top of each other. There are chairs all over the home plus it’s getting harder to find room to walk. I tried to get my dad to have a yard sale plus sell the chairs, however he gets upset. I am sure he has a problem, plus I do not believe I can help.
