My Heating, Ventilation, & A/C equipment specialist called me to inform me of the shallow hot & cold temperatures.

He was telling me I needed to be on the lookout, mostly because he had central heating & cooling equipment with one of the AC components on the exterior.

He worried that if it was actually discontinued, I would end up with bursting pipes that would be too expensive to maintain when the weather returned to its normal state. Sadly, he was a bit too late with the information as I made my way back to check the status of the pipes. It seems as though the snow had formed inside the pipes & somehow forced them to burst open. The outdoor AC equipment honestly seemed intact because of the rail cover, however it was difficult to tell for sure. When he called again to ask about the situation, I explained my findings, & he said he would be there early the following day. The weather subsided, & he came by to assess the setbacks. There were all sorts of plumbing messes that he was able to work on since he worked as a handyman & Heating, Ventilation, & A/C equipment expert all in 1. He knew which pipes to get as a replacement & even carried his Heating, Ventilation, & A/C toolbox just in case he needed to get to repairing any of the AC components! Once the plumbing was completed, he turned to the AC equipment to check what needed to be worked on. It turns out that there were a few loose wires that had affected the heating & cooling equipment functionality. He tightened everything up & replaced a fuse that had blown because of the power surge from last evening. I was blissful to have everything back to normal despite the financial dent it placed in my pocket.
