Basically, I work in paradise.

My biweekly schedule is fairly bendy, however my on-calls hours are around the clock, in addition to that is not bendy at all. I am 1 of the head techs at a ritzy beachside resort. I live here, at a small cabana overlooking the beach, in addition to although the work is hard the spend money is great in addition to the view can’t be beat. The clients who visit the resort spend money top dollar in addition to expect the best of everything, including temperature control in their suites in addition to villas. Many of our clients are rich, spoiled, in addition to entitled, but I recognize how much they spend money to rent these locales, so if they say the air conditioner isn’t cold enough after that I just say “yeah sir” in addition to “yeah ma’am” in addition to get to work. They have gone through a lot of Heating and A/C techs in the past in this position, because pretty much everyone don’t like to be talked to this way. I get yelled at, chewed out, in addition to discorrect by the guests, often while I am engaged in fixing their air conditioner, in addition to not everyone has the disposition to tolerate that… For me, it’s about that paycheck. This gig pays more than any other Heating and A/C task I have ever worked, in addition to by a wide margin at that. If I have to listen to rich aged snobs talk smack for this kind of money, then that’s what I do for the sake of this Heating and A/C task! I usually wear earbuds while doing Heating and A/C work anyway, so I can’t even hear most of what they say to me.
