The idea is that by looking at these things every day, you will become more motivated to achieve them. Like I said, it’s silly, and yet it worked! In the center of my vision board was a cabana on a sandy beach, and now I live in one! I got hired as the senior HVAC tech for a swank beachside resort, and I live here three weeks out of the month. Three weeks on, one week off, and when I am on that means that I take any and all climate control repair work, any time of the night or day. I am on call 24/7 for three straight weeks, because these guests pay top dollar, and deserve top flight HVAC performance in their suites. I make it very clear to every guest that they do not need to tip me, I am not a bellhop I am a certified HVAC tech and my services come with the room. The pay here is good, and we all know that a bad air conditioner in a rented room will cause you to never go back to that business again. I want happy customers and well-working air conditioners, because that means that I am earning my paycheck.
