Give me AC and leave me alone

Last Summer, some friends and I enthusiastically decided to take a trip to the beach.

The people I was with and I woke up before the sunrise happened, filled my car with cold drinks, chips, and a bunch of our favorite musical acts and podcasts, and hit the road.

The drive went by suddenly, and all of us had a fun time along the way. When all of us got to our endpoint, all of us decided to go straight to the sandy beach before checking into our hotel. The people I was with and I flew kites, threw a football, and just listened to music, as we drank a few beers. The people I was with and I were having such a good time at the sunny beach that all of us didn’t even notice that all of us forgot to put on sunscreen until clearly it was too late; By the time all of us realized what had happened, all of us were all covered head to toe in bright pink sunburns. The people I was with and I slowly packed up our things, and finally went into the hotel. After all of us showered, all of us all put aloe vera all over our skin, cranked up the air conditioner, and laid down in front of it. The air conditioner felt so amazing on my horribly burnt skin, the powerful air conditioner was so incredibly soothing that none of us wanted to get up and move. The air conditioner felt so good, in fact, that it was almost worth getting the horrible sunburn in the first site. If it wasn’t for the strength of the air conditioner, all of us probably would have had a miserable time, and really would have left the beach early. The hotel air conditioner was our saving grace the entire weekend, and we talked about how good the air conditioner worked. As good as it felt, I will really be using lots of sunscreen next time I go to the beach.
