My dad had been an excellent father, but his stubborn trait was something every one of us all had to get used to, but being a military man, he liked order and people following his wishes to the letter.

• When it was time to replace the old A/C plan in our house as it began having troubles, he opted to change it and get a heat pump, then mom wasn’t glad with this decision but didn’t want to argue with him.

Dad passed on a year later, and mom opted to make some changes. One issue she had to tackle was the heating plan in the house. The heat pump had some benefits, but mostly it was a nuisance for mom. She informed me that dad had paid a lot of cash to purchase it and install it in the house. Yet, the heating device wasn’t working effectively, so she wanted to change it. The house heat pump kept breaking down in Wintertime, costing our mom a lot of cash. Mom wanted to guess our opinion before making a decision, and I asked her to call an HVAC expert to the apartment to discuss the situation. Two days later, mom called back and told me she had consulted with an aircon specialist who saw sense in her issue, and he had commanded our mom to change the heating device and install a more energy-efficient heating, ventilation and A/C plan with a smart temperature control. That way, she could regulate the energy consumption, enjoy better cooling and heating, & lower her yearly electricity bill. It cost our mom some more cash to substitute the heat pump, despite the fact that she was glad with the quality heating, ventilation and A/C that was even eco-friendly. The heating, ventilation and A/C upgrade took a few days as the A/C worker cleaned out the air duct and added some insulation to improve the air conditioner in our mom’s home. The whole time I kept wishing dad had listened to our mom’s wishes.
