I told him that there was caution tape around the AC unit. He told me to come downstairs for a different room. He was rude again, as well as I had every intention of giving him a piece of my mind. Fortunately for him, the manager was standing at the desk when I came back downstairs. She was unquestionably apologetic for the mix-up as well as even provided me a voucher so I could care about dinner at the hotel.
