About several years ago, the clothing, food, and hardware supply center in our town shut down.

I am not sure why they decided to close the store, however nothing took its site.

Every one of us have been driving 9 miles to the next closest store location, for a long time, I wondered if they would demolish the building all together. Months ago, I study an article in the newspaper and I found out that a company that makes air filters bought the entire property. After I study the newspaper article, I drove by the vacant lot and it was filled with cars and construction machinery. The air filter company didn’t waste any time remodeling the building. The entire lot had 8 shops and all of those shops were closed down so the entire space could be made into 1 big factory. The air filter company hired 250 people from the neighborhood to toil in the building. One of those people was my son Jack, then jack has special needs and this was his first job, and he was 22 years old when he was hired to toil at the air filter production plant. Jack has been emplotted for the past month or several and the job seems to be going well. He brought condo his first paycheck and was drastically excited to open a bank account. He told my husband and I that he prefers resting at his machine all day. He does well with routine tasks and this factory job making air filters is perfect for my son. He finally has a job and something that makes him feel pride.
