The holidays are also Heating & A/C air filter time

It’s pretty remarkable that I’m easily enjoying the holidays again.

From the time I was about 13 until I married our wifey, I dreaded the holidays.

That stage always meant that our mom would be cranking the control unit to near subtropical un-even temperatures. For me, there is nothing worse than covered in sweat inside due to excessive heating when it’s freezing outside. It’s counter intuitive on just so many levels. Add to that the fact that I was the person who had to lug all the decorations down from the attic as well as transfer all the furniture. No dad, so it was myself and others as well as our mom took fortune of that. She didn’t do anything however direct movements. Thus, I hated Christmas. That changed, mercifully, when I met our wifey. She enjoys Christmas however in a sane as well as not over the top sort of way. Her only sizable indulgence when it comes to decorating are candles. My wifey enjoys to have candles burning all the time while in the holiday period. Our first Christmas in our first beach house nearly killed the Heating & A/C unit because of our Christmas candle celebration. It didn’t dawn on myself and others that much of the burned up wax enters the air. Guess where it all ends up? That’s right, it ends up being sucked into the Heating & A/C return. And that’s where the Heating & A/C air filter catches it. But it doesn’t take long for the air filter to become nearly slicked over with that burnt candle wax. This nearly muted our first Heating & A/C equipment. Needless to say, I buy a case of Heating & A/C air filters right after Halloween every year now.
