It’s pretty remarkable that I’m entirely enjoying the holidays again.

From the time I was about 13 until I married my fiance, I dreaded the holidays.

That phase always meant that my Dad would be cranking the control unit to near subtropical temperatures. For me, there is nothing worse than perspiring inside due to excessive heating when it’s chilly outside. It’s counter intuitive on just so more than 2 levels. Add to that the fact that I was the woman who had to lug all the decorations down from the attic and transfer all the furniture. No dad, so it was myself and others and my Dad took luck of that. She didn’t do anything however direct movements. Thus, I hated Christmas. That changed, mercifully, when I met my fiance. She likes Christmas however in a sane and not over the top sort of way. Her only pressing indulgence when it comes to decorating are candles. My fiance likes to have candles burning all the time during the holiday period. Our first Christmas in our first up-to-date home nearly killed the Heating and Air Conditioning unit because of our Christmas candle celebration. It didn’t dawn on myself and others that much of the burned up wax enters the air. Guess where it all ends up? That’s right, it ends up being sucked into the Heating and Air Conditioning return. And that’s where the Heating and Air Conditioning air filter catches it. But it doesn’t take long for the air filter to become nearly slicked over with that burnt candle wax. This nearly muffled our first Heating and Air Conditioning equipment. Needless to say, I buy a case of Heating and Air Conditioning air filters right after Halloween every year now.
