My husband has always loved all kinds of machinery.

This was not really surprising to me, because most men do love machines. However, I never thought it would become an issue. One thing you should know about my husband is the fact that he loves to buy things, a lot. Oftentimes these are things we really can’t afford, but my husband has a difficult time not buying something once he has an interest in it. I have been successful at steering him away from most things once he expresses an interest in it. But since I can’t be there 24/7, he always ends up bringing home something new that we really didn’t need. His last purchase was a 60 inch TV and that cost enough as it is. So when we were in a HVAC store, and he started looking at all of the heating and cooling machines, I knew to keep a close eye on him. Sure enough, he started pointing out a certain furnace model, and talked about how nice that would be in our home. This was my signal to pull him away from the HVAC devices, before he ends up buying one. Afterwards we left the heating and air conditioning store and ate at a restaurant. When we arrived home, he was still talking about the HVAC technology and HVAC equipment he saw. I couldn’t help but to feel bad because we probably should update our A/C system. So I planned on buying him the heating device he saw at the store, I just hope he doesn’t buy it before I do!
