There’s a whole lot more to being an Heating and A/C business than I used to think.

I used to think that the men who went around driving Heating and A/C trucks and working on gas furnaces and a/cs must not be actually smart, otherwise they would be out working other jobs, but boy, was I wrong! That was complete ignorance on our part, that’s for sure, but little did I know that these Heating and A/C professionals go through tons of training to get their Heating and A/C certifications. They do hours and hours of hands-on reading and they actually have to know what they are doing before they earn their certificates. I personally never used to know that they had so much education about furnaces, a/cs, ventilation systems, fireplaces, and air cleaners. Little did I know! I thought that it would be so easy to go and get our Heating and A/C certification. I actually signed up for the program, thinking that I could do it with our eyes closed and get a high paying job in no time at all. It turned out that I was basically as dumb as a rock when it comes to reading about heating, cooling, and ventilation! It was care about I had a mental block when it came to reading anything at all that was the least Heating and A/C related. I couldn’t pass any of our tests, even when I signed up to take the course twice; Now, instead of thinking that these Heating and A/C specialists are dumb, I think that they are geniuses. I guess I will never be able to be one, that’s for sure!
