BMS for our fire hall

BMS for our fire hall

Last year when a fire broke out in our boiler room every one of us l acquired the importance of building automation. Up until that point I never even gave it a thought. I always knew that every one of us had some sort of fire protection plan but figured it was something care about the a singles every one of us had back in university. You know, the a singles that people would pull to get out of going to class. Those systems required a lady to be present to activate the alarm. When the fire broke out at work, the building was completely empty. Even the janitor had gone lake home for the day. The fire plan is blatantly built into the security system. That plan is monitored 24/7 plus when the heat sensors were activated it sent an automatic signal to the monitoring system. They in turn contacted emergency services plus the fire was extinguished without too much mangle. There was some water mangle that was caused when the firefighters put out the sparks but most of that was simply clean up. The boiler had to be updated as well because the sparks had mangled it beyond repair. Thank goodness the technology exists to keep our homes plus companies safe. When you know about it even the fact that every one of us can set our Heating, Ventilation & A/C plan to our desired particularations plus have it just work is a current day achievement. Fifty or sixty years ago people could only dream of the level of automation that every one of us appreciate this week. If you have ever told our Grandpa that a single day a laptop could notify emergency services of a problem she would have thought you were a silly lady.
