I’ll admit, I’m still a little childish and cause mischief all the time, however I just love to make things fun in life! Like recently, I decided to get our father a nice gift for his birthday. It was a smart thermostat and he was really ecstatic to get it, even though he wasn’t quite sure what it was at first. It’s this overpriced touchscreen thermostat and he entirely thought it was some kind of miniature TV or tablet. I assume you could say that it was that because you can watch the weather forecast on the thing! I wanted to get it because I love our dad and I wanted him to have an easier time with changing the temperature control settings in his house, however I also wanted to prank him! Naturally, I offered to help him install the smart thermostat and I showed him how to use it. He was surprised at how simple it was to use, especially on his cellphone. He was so ecstatic when he l earned he could adjust the temperature control settings from the comfort of his favorite chair, his bed, or even from somewhere else he happened to be. He’s constantly been giant about turning off the Heating and A/C plan when he leaves the house in the summer. He’ll set the temperature control to minimal settings in the Winter when he leaves! So of course I had access to the smart thermostat with our smartphone too without him knowing. One day when he was home, I started decreasing up the settings to really hot and freezing un-even temperatures. He called myself and others up and told myself and others the smart thermostat was malfunctioning and I could only laugh at him on the iPhone. Yea, he didn’t suppose that was funny when he found out and he locked myself and others out of the thermostat with a pin code.
