My fiance and I are trying to method a genuinely casual wedding this summer, then basically both of us just want to get it over with. My main criteria is that I want to be by water and have alcohol nearby. I want it to be a fun, casual and boozy affair. I have looked into hotels that have pools and are right on the beach. I know that could be fun… Everyone could drink and hang out by the pool. Then if the mood struck or when both of us say our vows, both of us could be on the beach. Having a bar next door to the hotel would be a nice little bonus as well. I am not too gratified that our fiance wants to say vows. I would care about to just hang out in our swim trunks and like the day. Instead there will be a portion where I need to be dressed up and not sweat to death. I am certainly pushing to have the hotel be the main hang out spot strictly because of AC. It would be nice to store our clothes in a room rather than in a bin on sand. Also I could shower, cool down with the air conditioner, do our hair and look fine in pictures. If our fiance pushes to go to the beach first, she will get a hot mess in every single picture. I also know if the day gets too hot and I get sunburned, I like the method of having a shaded area with AC and drinks right in the room.
