You should never burn bridges.

That’s something that I learned a very long time ago, after making many mistakes in this area.

When I was younger I used to get into conflicts with other people and walk away forever. I didn’t really care if we ever got along again, because they had hurt me in a way that seems to justify the dissolution of our relationship. Now, I don’t feel that way. I really do try to keep my friends close and my enemies even closer. You never know when it’s going to pay off, to be honest with you. This is why one of my best friends is a heating, cooling, and air quality control technician. Many years ago we went through a relationship rough patch and our friendship was almost ruined… But then I needed a professional heating, cooling, and air quality control appointment. A few days after our argument I noticed my air conditioning device was no longer producing cool air. In fact, it felt like my heating system was running every time the cooling device was supposedly kicking into gear. I didn’t have the extra money to call a professional heating, cooling, and air quality control repair specialist, so I decided to call up my friend. I apologize for my behavior and we quickly forgot about the whole event… Especially as he worked on my broken air conditioning system. Ever since then, I have kept my friend very close. He is never far away when my heating or cooling system decides to start messing with me. I can always call on my friend for free repair services on my indoor air temperature control devices, and that’s a bridge that I will never burn.
