Recently, both of us moved into a modern home.

Everything in this home had been substituted from the fridge, to the tile, washer and dryer, and Heating and Air Conditioning system.

The lake house had all of the things that I was looking for in my lake house search. Every one of us hope to make this a forever home and not have to transport anymore. There is plenty of room for guests and the teenagers, and our pets. One thing I overlooked when both of us toured this home was the ceiling fans, or the lack thereof. It took until both of us were living here for a week for myself and others to realize that there wasn’t a single ceiling fan in this house, ceiling fans are a necessity to me. Yes, it’s true that ceiling fans do not cool the air. But, ceiling fans circulate the cool air that comes from the a/c unit and overall keeps myself and others cooler when I am in the room, when I have a ceiling fan on, I can turn down the thermostat and set it at a higher temperature. This saves energy and I can remain cooler at a higher temperature. Especially on those afternoons when I can turn off the Heating and Air Conditioning plan all together and open the windows and switch on the ceiling fans. Those afternoons when it’s in the 70s outside are the best because I assume I am saving money by turning my Heating and Air Conditioning plan off. Tomorrow, first thing, I am going to the home improvement store and buying ceiling fans for the living room, living rooms, and my home office. I will not sacrifice my comfort and go without the cool breeze of circulated air that ceiling fans give me.
