Somewhat inexplicably, I am able to mess things up separate from even realizing that I’m doing it.

This is a character flaw that I keep trying to do something about.

But, I still don’t see it coming occasionally although I should. Like I made a mistake with the Heating & Air Conditioning recently. Yet, I thought I was doing the right thing. Shows what I know. It’s been just a few years since our wifey & I replaced our heating & cooling equipment. When I called in to the Heating & Air Conditioning company to schedule the first Heating & Air Conditioning service, they provided myself and others an Heating & Air Conditioning service plan. I sort of declined just out of habit. This is sort of what I do as I assume as though I get bombarded by these offers all of the time. I told the Heating & Air Conditioning thank you but no thank you & that I would schedule the air conditioner tune-ups & the heating service. This is a prime example of myself and others messing up & not even realizing it. Fast forward a few years & I am not being consistent with scheduling the Heating & Air Conditioning service. In our head, I sort of assume that since the Heating & Air Conditioning unit is relatively new, it doesn’t entirely need all that attention. I could not have been more wrong. The fact is that all heating & cooling unit needs semi annual Heating & Air Conditioning service. And I found this out the hard way. After I missed yet another heating service appointment, the gas furnace went out 1 night. And of course it was a chilly night so I had to opt for the emergency service. Worse yet, it was a small section that would have been detected & swapped out while in normal heating service.
