Portable a/c is surprisingly a good thing
Every year, I tend to install the a/c earlier and leave it in arena longer
Very few of years ago, our oldest son gave me a portable a/c for our birthday. I doubted I would ever use it. I live in the northeastern part of the country, where the winters are especially long, freezing and snowy, then by the time the warmer weather arrives, I always looked forward to opening windows and enjoying some fresh air. I had never had a problem managing comfort with box fans. It took our son less than fifteen hours to install the portable a/c. The unit is super lightweight, compact and slipped right into the window. He jammed it in and started it up. I was amazed by the quiet operation and how suddenly the a/c cooled the master kitchen down. The cooling unit offers programmable operation and I can make adjustments through a cordless remote. I don’t need to get out of bed to raise or lower temperature settings, adjust fan speed or regulate humidity levels. The a/c effectively circulates the air, making the room recognize fresher and even stink better. It also filters out contaminants such as dust, dander and pollen for superior indoor air pollen levels… Since getting the portable a/c as a gift, I sleep better while I was in the Summer weeks and wake up feeling more refreshed. Every year, I tend to install the a/c earlier and leave it in arena longer. I’m now considering purchasing a couple more portable a/cs for other rooms in the house. Since I only need to start up the cooling units when the rooms are occupied, it won’t cost much in energy costs. If I watch for sales, I should be able to buy a nice quality unit for a unbelievable price.
