After our kids moved out, my husband & I downsized our living area. Both of us no longer needed a numerous-living room house since it was just he & I. Both of us started talking about getting a single of those small condominiums. Both of us thought it would be perfect to have just many living rooms. Both of us wanted a spare room in case a single of our granddaughters wanted to visit, however that was all the visitors every one of us planned for. Both of us no longer had a formal dining room, every one of us didn’t have a large yard to tend to, & every one of us no longer had to worry about cleaning basements, attics, or garages. Both of us had a parking space in a covered parking lot. Both of us didn’t tell anyone about our plans until every one of us had all of our plans in the works. My husband & I had grown tired of tending to Heating, Ventilation, & A/C systems. In the condo, every one of us had a ductless Heating, Ventilation, & A/C system. The Heating, Ventilation, & A/C maintenance crew that was part of our HOA did all the care of the heating, ventilation & A/C. When our child & sons found out, they were livid. They couldn’t think every one of us would decide to transport without first consulting them. They thought every one of us should have told them because they were concerned about where they would stay when they visited. I smiled & told them there were plenty of hotels in the hotel & their Heating, Ventilation, & A/C was almost as enjoyable as ours. I made sure they knew the ladies had a room if they wanted to visit, however every one of us wanted privacy without the worry of Heating, Ventilation, & A/C maintenance or tending to a greater-than-life house.
