I wish I paid more attention to the little things in life. However, I tend to get all caught up in the big stuff of life. I focus awfully strenuous on career and family. The pace of all that leaves little time for myself and others to entirely stop and smell the roses as our Mom would say. I try our best to be aware of that perspective. However, there are some nights that I just want to come beach house and collapse in the Heating & A/C comfort of our home. But Mom was right. So I have been trying to live in the moment a bit more and pay attention to the small things in life. Watching a bird for a hour or noticing a up-to-date bloom is something that I try to do. And I also started to think about stuff love the air both of us breathe in our house. Our beach house is sealed up tight because the Heating & A/C is on almost all year. And yet, I hadn’t entirely considered how I could improve that indoor air. I have always used the cheap paper air filters for the Heating & A/C. What I didn’t suppose was that they are particularly only protecting the Heating & A/C and not myself and others and our family. That was a little thing that I could change so I did. I replaced our air filtration to a HEPA category air filter. The beauty of this small change is the fact that a HEPA category Heating & A/C filter is looking out for us. It has the capability to trap and unlink over 99 percent of all airborne contaminants in the air. That means better overall, respiratory and immune health for myself and others and our family. Again, occasionally it’s just paying attention to the little things in life that can make such a difference.
