Some people take budgeting to the extreme.

I clip coupons on occasion, plus am not afraid to be thrifty so I can save up a bit of money, however there are limits.

My best buddy Sarah calls herself a dire saver, however to myself and others she is just plain crazy. Don’t get me wrong I savor her to death, even though I do not understand a lot of her choices in life. Why would someone endure such terrible discomfort on a regular basis to save a little amount of money? To myself and others that is what money is for, to spend on things that make your life more enjoyable! Sure I could save a bundle of money each month if I stopped using a/c, however why would I want to do that? I could be miserable with a few more bucks in the bank, or use those bucks to work the air conditioning device plus appreciate myself a whole lot more. Sarah will only run her central a/c device for a few hours per day, that is all she allows herself. She says those few hours of cooling is enough to take the edge off, plus cool her room down enough to get some sleep in the nighttime. Overnight her household starts heating up all over again, plus she is damp with sweat by the time she gets up in the morning. She says it works for her just fine. Of course she also doesn’t run the A/C device in her car, so anytime we go somewhere I insist on driving all the time. When the summers get terribly hot, I notice that Sarah starts fishing for invites, to come over plus hang out with our relaxing A/C.
