People tend to feel that just because I live in the mountains that I am backwards or primitive to some degree. I don’t require a/c to survive, however numerous months out of the year I do need heat to live. I always keep a good 3 month wood supply for the furnace, in case I have to rely on that to keep warm. I never have lost power for quite some time, however if I did, I would merely miss a few tv shows, as well as certainly get a bit warm with no AC machine. Please don’t get me wrong, I care about a cooling machine as much as the next guy, although I won’t whine about it if I have to go without one.
